BLUCABANA RULES AND REGULATIONS

In order to make our facilities clean, safe, and enjoyable for all members, it is necessary for us to provide certain rules and regulations and to uniformly enforce them. BluCabana reserves the right to alter and/or add to the rules in order to maintain the best possible environment for our Members, children, and their guests. Please familiarize yourself with the following rules:

 

1: ENFORCEMENT OF RULES

A. All Members have a responsibility for the enforcement of rules. Members, their children and guests(s) are expected to show proper courtesy and obey all rules and regulations.

B. Violation of any rule may result in immediate suspension of all Membership privileges for 7 days for ALL family Members. Management may impose further penalties including suspension or expulsion.

 

2: ACCESS & MEMBERSHIP

A. All Members must bring & show their access cards at the reception desk prior to entering the facilities.

B. Members are responsible for their access card. Shared club access with a non-member will result in forfeiture of Membership effective immediately.

C. Members can obtain replacement card if an access card is lost or stolen. Replacement cards are available from reception at a cost determined by Management.

D. Memberships are non-refundable or transferable.

 

3: GYM

A. The Gym hours of operation are from 9am – 11pm.

B. No more than 35 people may use the Gym at any one time.

C. Children under the age of 16 are not allowed to enter the Gym.

D. Gym users are expected to practice good hygiene and gym etiquette.

E. Gym users should refrain from yelling, using profanity, excessive banging of the weights, throwing weights on the floor and making loud noises.

F. No smoking or eating within the Gym area.

G. A personal towel must be used at all times. Gym users are not allowed to share towels.

H. Gym users must wipe down the machines after using.

I. Re-rack weights and return all other equipment and accessories to their original place after use.

 

4:

A. Pool hours are from 10am – 6pm. Only Adult Members can use the pools extended hours till 11pm.

B. Everyone entering the pool is required to take a shower.

C. All Members within the pool area must be attired in swimming apparel. No street clothes are allowed in the pool. Clothing such as cut-offs gym shorts and underwear is not permitted as swimwear. All clothing must be colorfast and lightweight material suitable for swimwear, such as Lycra, Spandex or Nylon.

D. Children who are not toilet trained must wear specially designed swimming diapers and rubber pants.

E. Running, boisterous or rough play, pushing, acrobatics, dunking, wrestling, splashing, yelling, diving or jumping without care and caution, snapping of towels, improper conduct causing undue disturbances on or about the pool area or any acts which would endanger any patron are prohibited.

F. No person within the pool area shall behave in such a manner as to jeopardize the safety and health of him/her and others. Such behavior, including abusive or profane language, shall be grounds for expulsion.

G. Members, their families and guests shall use the pool AT THEIR OWN RISK – THERE IS NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY.

H. Adult Members and their guest(s) (at least 16 years of age) must ACTIVELY SUPERVISE their children and keep young non-swimmers within arm’s reach.

I. The pool may be closed for maintenance, due to severe weather condition, or operational needs whenever such action is necessary in the judgment of Management.

 

5: CODE OF CONDUCT

A. Each Member must respect other club users and behave in an appropriate manner at all times.

B. Appropriate covered footwear & a shirt must be worn.

C. Roller Blades, Roller Skates, Skate boards, Scooters, and/or Bicycles are not permitted within the Club

D. Outside Food and Drinks are not permitted on Club premises.

E. Place trash in receptacles and trash bins.

F. Abusive, offensive, or profane language is not permitted from Members, Guests or Management Staff.

G. Members and/or their guests may not display actions that are unsportsmanlike, rude or aggressive to any person within the Club
H. Any complaints regarding the conduct of members and/or guests should be reported directly to Management Staff

I. Any violation of any Federal and State laws, especially the possession of illegal drugs and controlled substances, will result in the appropriate termination of Membership privileges.

J. Management reserves the right to rescind the rights of Members not complying with the terms and conditions of the Membership.

 

6: CHILDREN UNDER 16

A. Children are denied access to the Club if not accompanied at all times by a responsible Member of age 16 or older.

B. Children are prohibited from entering the Gym.

C. Children may not use the pool after 6pm.

D. Children who are not toilet trained must wear specially designed swimming diapers and rubber pants.

E. Children who violate Club rules while using any of its facilities may be excluded from using these facilities.

 

7: GUESTS

A. Guests must be accompanied by an Adult Club Member (16 years or older) while using the facility.

B. Members are limited to 2 Guests only per Adult Member to the Pool at any one time. No Guests are permitted to the Gym.

C. Members are fully responsible for their Guests at all times.

D. Guests are subject to the same rules as Members.

E. Guest Tickets may be purchased at the front desk.

 

8: PETS

A. Animals and pets are not allowed on Club property.

 

9: GENERAL

A. Deliberate property damage caused by a Member, his/her family or Guest will be charged to the responsible family Membership.

B. The Club’s facilities are provided for the use and pleasure of Members. Use of these facilities is a privilege and NOT a right. There is no extra charge for most activities; However, Members having Guests using the facilities are responsible for covering any fees charged on those Guests.
